This program is targeted towards beginner golfers (ages 7 - 10) that show a keen interest in the game of golf and are looking to develop their skills, knowledge, and etiquette of the game in an educational, fun, and interactive manner. Students will be taught by PGA of Canada instructor Bryan Overland and will be caped at an 8:1 student to coach ratio to maximize their learning experience. Lesson plans have been constructed following the guidelines of The CN Future Links Program and focus not only on the fundamentals of basic golf instruction but focus strongly on the development of life skills on and off of the golf course.
One hour of instruction & two hours of on-course experience each week from June - September (total of 51 hours)
Focuses on skill development of the fundamentals of golf as well as life skills and proper etiquette of the game.
Maximum student to coach ratio of 8:1 coached by PGA of Canada instructor Bryan Overland.
The registration fee also includes a RattleSnake embroidered team golf shirt, hat, and golf bag.
Students are required to bring their own golf clubs and balls.
